October 17-18 (Fri-Sat),10am-9pm: Southwyck Fall Community Bazaar Table event in recognition of the 2nd Annual Ohio's Week for the Animals, October 19-25, 2003, sponsored by The Ohio Humane Education Association of Columbus. Focus was on educating the public about the crisis of pet overpopulation we are facing throughout the state of Ohio, as well as in Lucas County and Toledo. Many companion animal organizations, rescues, and trainers were in attendance, among other concerned citizens.

September 28 (Sunday),11:00-3pm: Walk for Farm Animals
Ottawa Park - 3.2 mile walk to benefit Farm Sanctuary.
Another successful PAR event! Around 50 people, many with their canine friends, participated in the walk on a chilly fall day. Through donations, pledges and registration fees, $1392 was raised to aid
Farm Sanctuary! Afterwards everyone enjoyed a vegan feast, including delicious cookies from the Alternative Baking

May 18 (Sunday), 11am-3pm: Table Event Toledo Area Humane Society's Walk for the Animals. 1920 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee.
We provided educational information about puppy mills, pet shops and spay/neuter. TAHS photos
March 20 (Thursday), 11am-5pm: Great American Meatout tabling event - U.T. Student Union (across from the bookstore).
March 22 (Saturday), 1-5 pm:PigHoppers Workday
- just in time for the start of spring - followed by a vegan potluck in celebration of the Great American Meatout.
PigHoppers is a sanctuary for domestic rabbits and pigs in Whittaker, MI (near Milan).
